Verified B2B data and email, as APIs.

Magpie Cloud is the hosted platform behind MagpieCRM: our verification servers, data search and mail servers. Use it today in MagpieCRM and over MCP. The same engine is coming as APIs.

A preview of the email verification API, with a made-up address.

Try it

Check an email address, live.

This is our free email verifier, on the same verification servers as the API. It asks the address's mail server whether the mailbox exists, and sends no email. 10 checks a day.

Free. We don't send an email or keep the address. See the privacy policy.

Recorded example: a real result from our free checker on 1 November 2026

In use today

The engine, at work in MagpieCRM.

MagpieCRM on Magpie Cloud runs on the same servers the APIs will. These are real screens, with made-up data.

Underneath

The servers behind it.

Checked with the mail server

Email addresses are asked of their own mail server, from our verification servers. No email is sent.

Paced, and checked every 6 hours

Checks are paced per mail provider and per company. Every verification IP is checked against blocklists every 6 hours.

Your domain, our mail servers

Email goes out from your own domain, signed with its own key, with bounces and complaints handled.

Hosted in the EU, code in the open

The services run in the EU. The app they serve is open source under AGPL-3.0.

Changelog

Latest changes.

October 2026

  1. Search

Verified people search checks each company's mail domain before showing its people

    • Each batch is tested against the company's mail server before anyone in it is shown or charged for
    • People hidden by those tests don't fill the page and don't use a credit
    • Opt-outs and contacts you already have are left out, as in every other search
    • Searching again doesn't show you the same people
    Release v0.9.110 on GitHub
  2. Search

    Verified people search

    • On hosted copies, a people search by job title can be answered by a search that checks each person against their live profile: title, location and employer
    • People show as they're checked: slower than before, but every person is confirmed
    • Revealing and saving people, and finding their emails, work as before
    Release v0.9.109 on GitHub
  3. Email finder

Email guesses in the order the data supports

    • A person's six checks cover the likely formats and spellings together, such as both halves of a double-barrelled surname, and umlauts written out
    • At companies of 50 people or fewer on their own domain, first@ is tried first
    • Website-builder and link-in-bio hosts are never taken for a company's mail domain
    • A learned format loses confidence only when a second person is rejected under it
    Release v0.9.96 on GitHub
